Why a pull can be late or fail
What delays a pull, what the dashboard shows when one does not finish or when collection is paused, and when to ask us.
Most pulls run on time and you never think about them. When one does not, here is what is going on and what you will see.
Why a pull can be late
- The schedule is an interval. A profile is pulled again once its plan's interval has passed since its last completed pull, so a pull can land later than the same hour yesterday.
- Big profiles take longer. A profile with thousands of reviews takes longer to read in full, especially the first time.
- Google Maps is sometimes slow or changes. When a reading cannot be completed, Axio-CRED tries again on its next turn.
What you see when one pull does not finish
The profile's page says that the pull it tried did not finish, and gives the time of the last pull that worked. The Workspace page shows the same warning beside that profile.
A pull that did not finish is never read as reviews going missing. Nothing is marked as removed because of it, and no alert is sent from it.
What you see when collection is paused
If Axio-CRED cannot collect for a while, every screen of your dashboard shows a banner saying that review collection is paused, and since when. While it shows:
- the figures you see are from the last pull that worked, and the banner gives its date;
- nothing is treated as removed;
- pulls start again on their own, and the banner goes away by itself once one works.
You do not need to do anything, and you do not need to add your profiles again.
When to ask us
If a single profile has not had a pull that worked for more than a day, or the paused banner stays up longer than you are comfortable with, email support@axiointel.com and name the profile. See How to reach a person.
