What "removed" and "changed" mean on a review

Removed means a review stopped showing publicly between two full sweeps; changed means its words or stars differ from the last pull.

AxioIntel compares each pull of a profile with the one before it. Two differences matter most, and each has its own colour in the dashboard: red for removed, yellow for changed.

Removed

A review is removed when it was on the profile in one full sweep and is not there in the next full sweep that finished. In your review library these sit under Missing.

Removed tells you that the review stopped showing publicly. It does not tell you why. Common reasons:

Only a full sweep that finished can mark a review as removed. A lighter check of recent reviews, or a pull that did not finish, never does. If a removed review shows up again on a later pull, that is recorded too.

Whatever the reason, you keep what was there: the review's text and stars as they stood, and the dates it was first and last seen.

Changed

A review is changed when its text or its star rating differs from the previous pull. In your review library these sit under Edited. Every version is kept, so you can put the before and after side by side.

Reviewers can edit their own reviews at any time. A five-star review rewritten to one star is the kind of change an alert will bring to you first.

Profile changes

Your listing's details, such as its name, phone number, website or hours, can change too, because anyone can suggest an edit to a Google listing. Each pull checks them, and a change is shown as a profile change.

What these are not

Neither word is a judgement about the reviewer or the review. They are dated facts about what was showing. What you do next is your decision, and if you report something, Google decides the outcome. See How to report a review to Google yourself.
